Hamilton House was built in the 1970’s incorporating many features typical of that era. Our clients wanted to update both the interior and exterior of their home, adding extensions to enhance the way it is used and reflect their modern lifestyle.
A new frameless glazed entrance porch greets visitors as they approach the house and elevationally the house has been transformed with through-coloured render, smooth fibre cement boarding and high-performance aluminium clad timber windows.
Solar control glass has been used extensively in the construction of a large dining space and family area which links directly to a modern kitchen, providing a welcoming open-plan but zoned space in the heart of the home. Consent has also been secured for a further extension with a similarly pavilion-styled roof treatment, affording a generous master suite which enjoys views over the substantial private grounds.
