RPA Architects obtained planning permission and listed building consent for a number of alterations and extension to this beautiful mid-18th century former farmhouse. Sensitive solutions were needed given the property’s listed status and location within a conservation area.

Amongst the alterations and extensions which have been completed are conversion of the roof space to provide two additional bedrooms, re-roofing an existing timber conservatory with insulated zinc panels to improve comfort in both summer and winter, building over a former swimming pool and then linking the new building to the original structure to create a large kitchen/family room and media room.
