This attractive Grade II listed farmhouse is believed to date from the mid-18th century. Originating as a timber framed structure there has subsequently been much adaptation and extension to the original building as well as extensive brick replacement, but many original features have been retained.
We were recommended to the new owners who asked us to assist them with their ambition to gain planning permission and listed building consent to extend the property in order to provide an additional bedroom and increased family living accommodation.
Projects of this nature have to be approached with skill and sensitivity. In particular it is important to avoid any adverse impact which proposals might have on the fabric and setting of the building. We enjoy that challenge and relish the opportunity to bring about sympathetic improvements to buildings rich in history. Please see our alteration and conservation page for more information.
